Where do I start??

I am pretty new to all of this so I am going to ask a few questions to all of you that may seem very stupid but any help would be appreciated.

    1) I created a website from from scratch with webstudio 4.0 and then uploaded it to my host. It has been online doing well for several months now. Whenever I needed to make changes to the site I would simply change it on my webstudio software and upload the changes. Recently my computor crashed and I lost my files to the website with webstudio (on my hard drive) and did not have it saved to a disk.
My site is still doing well I just need to make alot of updates to the products I sell on the site. I do not know how to do this other then recreating the website with my webstudio software by copying and pasting each item (which would take me quite a long time since it is quite a large site). I know there has to be an easier way to edit my site. Can any one give me a few suggestions?

    2) I have recently purchased a few content websites to play around with adsense. But I do not even know where to start. All I have is the domains and hosting transferred into my name. How do I transfer adsense code into my account? What is the easiest way to start editing the site and adding my own unique content?

Once again I have really have very little experience with this all so some terminology I don't understand. Is there a quick learning resource someone
could reccomend or is there something I am missing completely here? Maybe FTP can be explained to me becuase honestly I really dont know how it plays into this all. Thanks for the help and time.

Check out webmonkey.com. It's a great resource for those starting out.
