Ok I have been reading about niche's and adsence off and on for a few years and never really did anything with it. I did have a store up and runnign for awile with adsence running but I never promoted the site to the best of my ability. Mainly for a lack of knowledge and peopel to ask questions to.

I have very little html knowledge I can basicly put up pictures, change fonts, make links and stuff like that, I have no idea what a header or footer do. I have even less knowledge about CSS. I do understand computers very well and have taken a few programming classes. I have a few certs from CompTIA, security. networking and server+. So I know computers just not HTML.

Do I need to learn HTML before I get started or can I just get a templet and edit it to put my content in their and learn as I go?

A few people say you can't use dreamweaver and others without having knowledge of HTML and CSS. Is this true? If so are their any HTML stupid people compatibal editors?

i think you could be able to use dreamwaver without knowledge. But in my view, it is better to know a little bit, the beginning, of html to have a structure base of knowing.... ;)

You can just get a template and start editing it. If you are good at programming you will quickly pick up html.

A header and footer are just the sections at the top and bottom of a page.
A header usually has the site title and the footer has a few bits of info about the site.

Html editors are not very good these days because they insert a lot of useless code. Also, they will use tables which are only used on old websites now.

You need to concentrate on css which makes your website a lot easier to design.

css is kind of like what you get in programming by creating variables (divs) which when you change one value, it updates it in all the instances on your page.

if you know a lot about computers and programming then you will find HTML easy... if you dont want to learn html you can always use software like dream weaver to create a site... or use a blogging platform to create a website that makes it easy to update and add content...
