Where do i put the google analytics code?

Hi...didnt know where to put this question, so i decided to put it here since it seemed the best fit.

I have a really simple question.

Where do i put the google analytics code on my website to track stuff???

 

Put it right before the </body> tag.

Whatever pages you want to track stats for. I just one have file ( footer.php ) and I have it in there so it's called on all pages.

 

You need to put it on all pages, if you want to track all

 

Depends on how your site is setup, but generally in the footer file.

 

yep just before the </body> tag is correct on every page you want to track, it's a big job but well worth it. Google analytics is very good in my opinion
