where do i put the Google Analytics Code?

You need to put it in all those pages which you want to get tracked by Google.

 

Genearlly, GA code need to put in header section of website..!
Coming to wordpress blog, there are some plug-in's once you install such plug in you can easily get tracked..!

NOTE:
IF you add code in Header section, it will automatically track all the pages views and other...!

 

You can put it other files too but normally I put it in footer file just before the closing tag of </body>.

 

The footer section is the best place to place the code

 

You can place it on any page that you would like to track. Best place would be the header or footer page, that way it could be included site-wide.
