Forums, adverts, websites... I agree with the previous post though - poor spelling and grammer in a post doesn't provide a very good advert for any potential clients out there.

Warrior Forum is great, also try other forums and even get out and talk to local business and network. You never know where business will come from.

I’d say first establish yourself as a writer. Put up a blog, work on it for about a month with a constant supply of articles, bid for the cheapest rate possible on forums and then work your way to the top.
If you are a USA resident, try TextBroker.com. But again, I’d reemphasize you showcase your work; that way only someone will at least consider you for a job. You can’t claim that you’ve ghost-written thousands of articles. ;)

A strong foundation in basic writing skills always comes first ... at least it does if you want to get a decent rate for your work. I have sourced a lot of work from ifreelance. The rates I get there vary somewhat, but I am probably averaging about $50 per hour, so I am pretty happy with it.

One thing that I have found at places like ifreelance, elance, etc ... is that once you get 1 good review if becomes exponentially easier to get more work, a lot of just by work of mouth.

you can contact to Ub News they pay as per your effort. I mean if you write entertainment news article then they will pay $1 for 1000 page views and if you write business and technology news than they pay $5 on 1000 page views. And as you know that news articles are easy to get traffic.
