Where do celebrity sites/blogs get their photos from? recommended source?

Can anyone recommend a source to find photos for use in a celebrity blog that doesn't involve using goolge images ( unless that is the best/most legal way). I'm probably making this alot harder than it is, but I don't want to go against any copyrights or plagiarize. Are there photo sources that everyone is allowed to use? What about getting photos from a fashion website for example, Is simply giving the photographer credit enough to use their photos?

Also, if you say, "Images provided by..." you will most likely not run into any problems as you are providing a backlink to the original site.

Try to register with DayLife, it's free and mentioned the source/photographers if you're using their photos.

Are you saying that you can use the photo's here for free?....I found this in their FAQ's

"6. Can I purchase a photo I saw on the site, for use on my own site or elsewhere?
The photos you see on Daylife are provided by Getty Images, the Associated Press, and Reuters. Our arrangements with these providers do not permit resale or reuse of the images by Daylife users. If you're interested in purchasing a photo from one of these providers, you will need to contact them directly and ask them for permission and pricing information."

your best bet would be a decent sized stock agency such as getty images or rubberball. they're a bit expensive but they have a ton of photographers signed to them. also, if you do not have permission to use a photo from it's copyright holder, do not use the photo. the copyright holder is the original person who took the photograph unless they work for a stock or news agency. then they are shooting for the agency and the copyright belongs to the agency itself. if an agency finds you partaking in unlawful use of their property (in this case photographs) they will take you to court to get the royalty fees that they deserve.
