Where do big guys get their logo designs?

I am tired of hunting designers here and there, even tried some famous designers of DP and a couple other forums. Their portfolio look fabulous but when they start designing my logo, i dont know what happens to their skills. I have tried both methods, briefing them clearly what I want, and not briefing them in much details. Either way, no desired output.

We see ridiculously beautiful and well-thoughts designs over internet, lets say this, I don't know how and where to find designers like that.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

You can try 99designs.com , alot of "big guys" get their logo there .Its a bit costly though

because they want to present themselves as special.

 

99designs are very good. You get professional designers there.

 

Basically all it takes to design a good logo yourself is to take a dose of lsd for additonal inspiration.

I recommend not to take this message too literally however.

Obviously not at DP that's right..you can try 99designs , I know that most of the designers there are really serious.
