Hi everyone, I'm taking part in a new innovative startup which helps its users to achieve their goals using crowd wisdom. We’re still in an early private beta and we are collecting contents with valuable knowledge on a daily basis. Since we're not afraid to take a "SEO hit" as long as we get valuable knowledge for our users, we want to allow site owners to copy paste their readymade contents into our system and provide them a do-follow link in return. Does anyone knows where I can efficiently reach such site owners? any links trading platforms you know? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Essentially you are wanting to sell links and you can do that here: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/forums/link-sales.58/
So let me get this right... You want to setup a platform, where content does not matter, then offer links to your clients... I guess if they do not mind getting penalized by googe, then they would be more then happy to use your service. If you do not believe me, then ask those "former" article sites that used to take in every article under the sun, not only did they get penalized, so did the sites that got links from them... Of course, if you already have such authority, then you could take such a hit, and continue to smile on the way to the bank... however, if you are a new site... then I see 100% fail in your future...
As you know selling & buying links is completely black hat technique. You will be penalized for this act by search engines.
It depends on how you use it, and I would not say "all" are penalized. What if I had amazon links all over my site? Your first wrong response is going to be; You are going to get penalized, other then that, how does google know that amazon is not paying me to post their links in-content? a few days ago, i run across an editor that sells like on WikiPedia pages.... Do you think wiki is going to be penalized? How about the buyer? Do you think the buyers site is going to be penalized? The answer is no, if google started to penalize wiki-links, then people would run from wiki, and they would simply collapse. Yes, google wants you to die of old age, and allow your site to grow by natural means. however, people in general do not agree with this, and they rush out desperately buying links from the 4 corners of the planet, and by the time they realize they got bad links, then not only is it to late, they have also acquired to many bad links to get rid of, and I am not going to think that no authority site has bad links, they most certainly do... however, these sites have already reach a level of google trust that it does not affect them. 1: Choose your link providers very carefully 2: Make sure you choose high PR links. 3: Obtain your links very slowly...5-10 per week. (high PR links are not cheap, so know what you are getting into...) 4: put up useful content.... (You should do this first...) You will not get rich over night, however, you are google proofing your site for the future, it will not be cheap, but you are investing in the future of your site. Your site may not pay off now, but could very well in the future. I have heard of people working on their sites for 3-5 years before being able to quit their day job. It is a lot of work. You can not setup a site, then sit back and think google will love you in 3 years... you are constantly working on your site, grooming your site, updating content, posting new content, constantly reviewing your link profile... the work you have to put into a single site can be mind blowing....
This is a great site not to write for.... Duplicate Content: 68% Common Content: 22% Unique Content: 10% 392 Broken Links This site is just waiting for a penalty. These are the very sites that google does not want you to associate yourself with...
Good commentary and very helpful. I've come across Links Management in the past... what are your thoughts?
Dont use bad links.... Dont use same anchor text... Dont use spin/spun content... In the past you could rank with crap links, and shit content, those days are over if you intend to have any relationship with google...
Yeah, we tend to do all of our work 100% manually, but now that some of our partner sites where we publish are getting bigger, we're thinking of bringing in a little outsourcing. I'll start a new thread and ask for recommendations.
you can find some high quality link builders over at source-wave.com they are there, just weed them until you find the ones you think will be best for you.
Nice recommendation, just did a little poking around. Fiver-ish but a lot of the services look better. Thanks.
I think source-wave has better quality per say then fiverr, where they do not care and just let anyone on the boat for any reason... source-wave appears to be more focused, and niche based then fiverr.
