Use classifieds like ebay or craigslist.

    - I would consider using eBay to sell your established website (they seem to sell established websites for good prices there).

As has been specified, I would have to say Ebay is the way to go. You may not actually sell it there but you can certainly use Ebay as a kind of test market. Just keep in mind per their TOS for "live" websites--You may have NO Active payment links during the auction.
You could actually use Ebay as the way to drive the traffic to the site via a link or domain reference from the auction and list on the front page that the site is for sale and contact info should someone want to make offers outside Ebay at later date. On the downside--Many people coming to Ebay to buy their websites are what I refer to as "dabblers" and really do not know what they are getting into with a online business that is going to be successful. I have found that when this is the case--they often are not prepared to pay the value as they are ugnorant as to the specifics of that value and as well they are unprepared for the process of domain/hosting/marketing/etc... I have on occasion known them to buy and then never proceed beyond assumption of the domain and payment of 1st months hosting or never paying for hosting and never transferring the site. Overall though--Ebay is a way to test the waters and good for the exposure for a website for sale
