    Hi all!

I am a illustrator and designer and I am looking for places where I can sell my work. Maybe some services or custom orders, anything might help, thanks! seventytwostudio.com

You can sell prints through DeviantArt as well.

True! DeviantArt is actually famous for those things. Have you tried linkedin? Also maybe craigslist? Maybe a Facebook page for your work(not your own account)? Instagram or pinterest? Anything that has photo sharing will be good for you to get your work out there in the wild.

What about Fiverr.com or fivesquids.co.uk. Here you can charge people for making illustrations for them. You can only charge £5.00 or $5.00 but at least you can get yourself known.

    Nice Work
How much would you charge to illustrate a vehicle like the VW Bug with surfboards I see on your portfolio if I provided an image of my vehicle?
How much would you charge to illustrate a building elevation like your coffee bistro?

Don't do Fiverr... Your work is better than $5, isn't it?

I have a friend who is an AMAZING artist. The type of work he's done is unbelievable. He has illustrated for story books and has even worked on movies. Even though his originals are INCREDIBLE he has a very difficult time trying to sell his pieces for what they are worth. Even though he has been very successful he is in the truest sense a starving artist.

Your custom pieces are going to be terribly hard to sell. That's just a known fact. Whether your name is out there or not...it's not an easy sale. If you are looking to do Freelance Graphic design there are plenty of sites out there to find work. However, the competition is quite steep.

I agree with Netstar. Dont price down your work, forget about fiverr if you can do a good job or product

Thank you all for your help and ideas, I really appreciate.
I didn't try deviantart because I am seeing it as a portal for photography more than illustration, but maybe you're right. I have the Facebook page, Pinterest account, Behance, tumblr and Dribble. It's very hard to stay everywhere focused so this is for now the best I can do. But, my work is being featured from time to time and I think that might work as well. For instance, my last featured post on InspirationGrid - theinspirationgrid.com/old-story-new-ending-disney-characters-by-seventy-two

Anyway, I have a Fiverr account but it's worth that money since I am only illustration faces as a cartoon. Something like a side project more than something I'm making ton of money from. Probably will close it... fiverr.com/seventy_two

Well, only not giving up will bring us all somewhere so I am positive :))

    Thanks,
    Kath
