well,

I want my site to get really active and busy, and I've put my site in like, 3 directoys where else should I put my forum?

To be honest directories will help you reach better rankings in google and other search engines but isnt the best for traffic sending.
You should be submitting to directories and search engines regardless as thats what helps you to the top.. the more links the better.

I would suggest you go to link sells section and buy a few forum links
and hopefully get a few of those into your niche forum whatever it maybe.

Also try to find were your competitors traffic comes from and tap in if at all possible.
