you can promote through blog commenting, Advertising and as earlier says facebook fan page ..

 

submit your blog to DMoz and other web directory.

 

One of the easiest way is by writing articles and submitting to the top article directories like Ezinearticles and Goarticles, once accepted these articles can continue bringing traffic for sometime
