Where can i obtain free 'flash' type software for swf files?

    I'm looking for a free 'Flash' type software, any ideas. I'm willing to pay but would rather not - im certaintly not will to pay the £500+ that adob are looking for.
    Any alternatives anyone?

    Check out this page for different types of flash software , including flash site builder, photo gallery, video player, etc. If you don't have Adobe, then these can be good alternative. But if you are a Adobe Programmer and want to do actionscripting yourself, then there is no other choice.
