I created a domain with godaddy and I am trying to create simple 1 page landing pages. I will promote them with adwords and articles. But, does anyone know where I can make simple landing pages that are user friendly. Creating a webpage with godaddy's website tonight is a nightmare. I might work on 000webhost.

    Try Blogger.com or Wordpress.com

Easy to use, and you can link your blog to your own domain name.

I use a free WYSIWYG editor called NVU. It's really powerful and can do most things Dreamweaver can.

Or try Blackman's idea. Get a one column wordpress theme and viola, there you go.

I don't know if I have a hardcore bias to HTML, but I hate WYSIWYG editors because they jam all this extra code into the page. Even though mine are made from scratch, they're nice and light and I think google appreciates that and wants to date me.

Yeah but it's way easier and you get to see what you're doing. If I were you, I'd get a WYSIWYG and go straight to the "source" tab and that's pretty much like notepad. Then you can just hit the "normal" or "design" tab and you can see what you've done without saving it as a html and uploading and etc, etc.

Yeah, but when you're an html beast, you don't need to see, because you can visualize from the code. It's not like a landing page is a complicated piece of work though.

^^ Hah, I guess that'd work. Justin Brooke was flipping weebly sites and sold them for like 500 bucks, lol.
