You mean you want to add someone elses forum to your blog ? Outside of placing the RSS feed in the sidebar, you should probably ask for permission to do something like that, and I doubt you can perform that function on free hosted wordpress. If you are just looking for forums to link to, that's a loaded questions since there are thousands of forums for every industry, interest and niche online. Do a specific Google search.
well there is a plugin called wp forum,you can install it on your blog,http://www.fahlstad.se/wp-plugins/wp-forum/
Why not install free forums like phpBB on custom domain like forum.yoursite.com ? The forum plugin for wordpress looks in development mode. Wouldn't suggest that.. Moreover it just offers basic foum requirements.
