What kind of digital products do you want? Mp3s? or eBooks? Scripts? What?

Try checking out amazon. I know you can get products from them but I don't have an idea on how the process works.

One of the easiest things to sell would either be graphics/icons or web templates, but you'd have to match the quality and low prices of sites such as ThemeForest and Template Monster, so that could be difficult.

You won't get anywhere selling MP3's as everyone can get those free anyways, so you may want to try selling an e-book? Difficult to do, but well worth it for the affiliate sales if it's really a great e-book

OP, no offense but you might be approaching this from the wrong end.
Selling music legally is a mess - you will need to know everything about licensing, especially if you'll have customers in the US (and they are the only interesting customers right now).
There are some companies that can sub-sell rights (since Sony will probably not talk to you directly). This is not the right place to make inquiries, start with a healthy search in Google.
Next, if you want to do this properly, make sure to have some solid security in place - these sites are the hackers' darlings 24x7. Match that with a good payment processor, because you risk having lots of chargebacks and your account suspended for it.

Last but not least, check for niches where iTunes and the rest are not well covered - I doubt that website you mentioned makes big money. Maybe you should look to a joint-venture for this, there is a lot of inside information from the industry you'd need, imho. Good luck!

Try the affiliate products of clickbank, payloadz, tradebit, amazon mp3 etc. to sell digital items in your store. Of course, being located inside the US helps.

One thing I'd like to suggest is partner with independent artists, musicians and those looking to promote their music but are not under a record contract or anything. You offer a place to sell their stuff and keep a piece of the profit. For example, offer to sell an MP3 for $1.99, you process the payment, deduct your processing fee of about 3% plus say another 12% for your self and give the artist the rest. Sell an entire digital CD for say $10.00, you keep $3.00 artist gets $7.00.

Doesn't sound like much for one track or one digital cd but multiply that by the number of mp3's you can sell if your site takes off and you've got a decent pile of cash.

This way, you know all the stuff your selling is legit because you make the artists agree to terms of service saying it is and that you are not legally liable if it turns out it isn't.

they want to sell music any moron can get ebooks/scripts etc with resell rights from here/ebay etc you'll need to find an independant artists who haven't been signed would be your best option all the popular artists already have contracts with BMG etc search youtube plenty of unsigned talent there.

Hi, From my experience i would suggest to check with Chinabuye, online gadget/digital store from China, they do dropship all over world with free ship cost. I am from India and ordering my products from them for past 8 months, so far good and safe delivery. I like the rates being reasonable to afford. You can get all kinds of digital electronic products reliably. I like to try other stores like epathchina, but just find them costlier.
