I don't think it is possible, but with all the millions of websites out there, who knows what the hell there is.

No its not SPAM... go to the link. I register a free LLLL.com domain through Register.com.

Also just because I received it through email does not mean its SPAM.

    Listen DCNS,

I see your new to DP, so I am going to let that last comment slide. However, I would not have mention this offer if you don't get a free domain.

Many of the hot domain offers are for first year. I'm getting domain for $3,99 first year and then like 8,99 but thats not a big deal, because i have a lot of domains i do not use anymore. So you can just get the domain, see if the business is going and if it's not, you dump it and haven't lost anything. Thats my opinion and thanks for the link!

register.com offer is real and legit I registered for one and are waiting to transfer it at the end of 60 days. They are a respectable company, so giving them your CC details should be safe.

Yes, I tried to get a domain from register.com for free. However a valid cc is required. So, if you really want a free domain it's the best (and properly the ONLY way) to go.

    You aren't lying about that.

The FTC should make it illegal to say something is free and then require a credit card to get it.

What if you do not have one? Then it's not free, is it?

    Yep !

But the CC info is required only for verification purposes.

Where and who in the world is giving free stuffs to unknowns ?
I am talking about domains only.
Imagine if I provide free domains for first year having terms of renewal for $100/yr and charge of $.01 to get EPP code, then it might be free ! Right ?

And then I will be fired for helping fraudsters/scammers
ex:That’s why some times many free hosting providers are getting in troubles only when they provide hosting.
Other wise I am agreed with you !:D

Have you ever heard Godaddy or 1&1? If you do your research, you can renew a domain for under $10. The only reason why you should pay $30+ for a domain is that its a unique domain extension...

for example, I have a few .com.bz names. However, none of the major registrars are not picking it up. So I have to go with my current registrar and there prices.
