I am a total newbie on photoshop.. I want to learn photoshop now to redesign my websites according to my thoughts. Where can I get the best, step-by-step, with screenshot photoshop tutorials ?
Google is your friend. Write whatever you want to do in Photoshop and add "Photoshop tutorial" at the end and I am sure you will find tutorial for it. There are hundreds of sites with useful tutorials. I will post a list of sites I have gathered so far, but still Google is the best choice (that's how I do it when I need to do something in Photoshop): http://www.cottagearts.net/tutorials.html http://www.pslover.com/ http://www.picturecorrect.com/ http://www.tutorialized.com/ http://www.pixel2life.com http://www.cameratown.com/guides/index.cfm http://www.good-tutorials.com/ http://www.totaltraining.com
I would suggest you learn about design before you start spurting them out. Anyone can make a layout in photoshop, few can make them look good.
Yes I know google is my friend, but i want opinion from you great designers.. I found photoshoplab.com yesterday.
I believe the first thing you should to is purchase the software. There is no better way to learn how to use it than "clicking" and seeing what each tool does. Besides all the tutorials you can find online, the software Adobe Photoshop, has it's own "tutorial". The "HELP" found in the toolbar can answer all your questions as you go along.
I found lot of sites - pixel2life looks fine according to me.. Buit I couldn't find any good PSD to xhtml/Css tutorial
MeetHere, have you tried this one - short but at least something related to what you are searching for.
Already mentioned.. But I agree, this photoshop directory site does have the best tutorials listed (they don't accept everyone, only good/unique/useful tutorials) and they're all categorized in sections.. You can always check out mine at: www.photoshop-tutorials.info
Hey, www.lynda.com offers video tutorials on all web-design and graphics topics.. All by the pioneers in that field.. But they're too expensive ... If you can manage to get them through some other method... ie, torrents etc. that would be a milestone in your career/learning
Actually, lynda is not that expensive if u go for the monthly library access. like $30. Try my video tutorial site: vtutorial Instructional Videos
