Well first off this seemed like a good spot for this post since it has something to do with marketing sites... I started a new blog on a very popular game and has been doing pretty well for a 1 week old blog. Now there is another game in the series coming out soon so I thought about holding a contest/raffle giving away copies of the game. Was wondering who I could possibly get to sponsor this contest/giveaway. You think I should contact people? If so who? Im lost...
i would suggest contacting vendors who sell these games and see if they would be interested in sponsoring your contest/site.
try contacting the game company itself, also try vendors and gaming magazines who may do this sort of stuff if you offer free PR in return
Post it on your blog and then promote that post. What kind of contest you have in mind? Please reply back on me, I am interested!
