Where can I find people who want to advertise on my blog?

I would like to add Advertisers to my blog, so I can make some revenue from my site, not using Adsense & Bidvertiser (or any similar programs). I'd prefer to deal with people who want to place their ads on my site. Can anyone guide me; where can I find people who might be interested?
    BTW, my blog: http://pcnsnews.blogspot.com/
    :)

You need to understand why people are willing to spend money on advertising.

You can approach potential advertiser in the marketplace section of this forum but I think you should focus on increasing your PR & daily page views first.

First thing you need to understand is that you may get other bloggers to advertise (and that's a big maybe), but you will probably never get any companies or organizations to.

You need to have a good amount of traffic to even make it worthwhile for anyone, but the fact that it is on a blogger subdomain, meaning you aren't hosting it, have no control over it,and do not actually own it, is a big drawback that people will probably not want to invest in.

I completely agree with this. First of all buy a Domain name, even of you wish to host it on Blogger.

I've actually seen people with blostpot blogs have a whole sidebar filled with advertisers...I don't know exactly how much money they make but it's quite a bit more than the average blogger. The only thing is that there blog was fetish related and all their advertisers were fetish/sex related as well. They even did reviews for different porn sites and I believe got so much money for each visitor they sent over there.

As far as your blog, I'm not entirely sure. I too am just beginning to contemplate the idea of making money off my own blog (or more so contemplating the idea of needing to change it to my own domain, generate traffic, then get advertisers). It is a lot of work for sure...

Go for a domain, not a subdomain.

Keep website updated daily with UNIQUE posts :)

I don't see what's so hot about a domain name. Would advertisers really be willing to put their money on a site just because of a name, when the site's content is crap? I think having great content is much more important than owning a domain name.
