Where can I find one or two links worthy of ~$100/month?

Most of the people I meet in the Link-Sales Forum don't really have good-quality links. I can't afford a link in say... The Drudge Report, USA Today, etc. But, I can afford more than the ~$5-20 that is typical around the Link-Sales forum. Where is the middle ground? Where can I find a good value for around $100.00/month. I don't want to entertain offers from Butchered-English, lame websites anymore.
Please note, This is not a solicitation to buy links. It is not a solicitation for SEO services. I am hoping someone can point me to a small enterprise like a legit online version of an established newspaper or some similar situation.

you should not buy links form sites that are known for selling links. do a search for sites/blogs that complement your site but dont compete with yours. contact those webmasters requesting link back and state that you are willing to pay fair price fr the link. if you are looking for links form legit sites, then it is ideal that you find those sites yourself.

you are right about link sale forum not having good quality links. i myself used to my lots of links before for me and for my clients but these days all i find is links on dropped domains. out of 50 PMs off a WTB thread, i only find 2-3 sites that really worth going for.

there are text link brokers who sell links on member sites but it can be dangerous to buy those links as well. see if you can find sites of your interest and get some links by contacting the site owners. good luck

    Hi,

I think you can try writing a WTB post where you explain exactly what you need, like niche, link placement, PR and Alexa expected, and so on.

    Good luck.

It depends on your business type and the type of the links.
