I am in need of back links for my music site. I find it difficult to find some from the similar niche. Please share if some one know some source to find some.
why dont you try going for entertainment related sites ... then slowly focus on your music niche... surely that would help since its related.... zrhder
Hire a link builder if you can't find sites yourself. I think you can target music celebrities, lyrics, guitar tabs/chords, ringtones etc. website and they should still be relevant to your niche
If you are interested in buying links, you could check with the general directories and for the reciprocal ones try contacting other websites in the same niche as of your portal.
Best thing is to just find do-follow music blogs as well as submit links to music directories which you can find everywhere on the net.

i would do the following if i was in your situation: 1.go to dmoz.org and drill down to the music category and contact the webmasters for backlinks/link trades. 2.get involved in a music forum out there and place your link in the signature. 3.start commenting on music blogs 4.join a group through yahoo groups that is related to music. 5.start answering questions on yahoo answers.
