i need investors for a new startup. i dont need millions of dollars...max $25k. where can i find investors?

Hmm. Does anyone remember the site where People could post the amount of money,what for and how big is the returns and then mini-investors could put money into his "fond". If the explanation is good you'll collect the money really fast.
If your idea is great enough, investors may come to you but again, it's hard to keep it kind of a secret so you don't get duplicates and competition quickly.
Prosper.com is the site that you are thinking of. It's a good idea. He should go there and try raising the $25K that way.
If you have to ask were to get investors, I would say that your Business experience is NOT good enough to even have them, You should really learn all aspects of business first before getting others involved, IMO
I have been in business all my life and I have never needed investors until now. That is the only reason why I am asking.
prosper will use your credit score and such too, so if you have bad credit it isn't such an ace in the hole.
