Hi all, Soon I am going to lunch a new product and I was wondering where can I hire some actors to do this small testimonials videos that I will add to my site. Also does anyone knows the impact having video testimonials in general? How positive it is? I hope you can help me with this issue.
Craigslist would be my first suggestion. Alternatively, you could try and find someone from one of the freelance sites (elance, odesk etc.) - unless you want them to be famous actors. As for the impact - my experience has shown that it's HUGE! Nowadays that each and every product has a bunch of testimonials linked to it, the method doesn't have the credibility it used to have (people simply assume your testimonials are fake and - let's face it - more often than not they are correct). Whereas a video seems much more realistic and gets 'bought' far more often.

Honestly if I were looking to do that...I'd just get a couple close friends of mine. I personally think that random people who will testify to something is a lot better than "actors"
First thanks all to great posts. I think they are very helpful. @Smoke - I wanted to do the same thing but my problem is that I am in not English speaking country and its difficult to find someone with perfect English.
