I use Taco Html Editor http://tacosw.com/htmledit for the Mac and it also shows a Live Preview like wysiwyg. I would like to recommend an easy to understand editor to a friend that is not very familiar the Html. Can you suggest a free simple wysiwyg(or with a live preview) html editor on the PC? Thanks, Linds_e
Nvu is a good simple, free, open source WYSIWYG editor: http://www.nvu.com/index.php Works on Windows, Mac or Linux.
I LOVE the free one that comes from PabloSoftware. It's $30 if you like it and want to remove the button at the bottom of the page that says, 'made with WYSIWYG Editor'. Search on google for "webbuilder.exe wysiwyg"
You might also check out Microsoft® Expression® Web Beta. It is the new Frontpage version and the code it writes is compliant. I did one website in it and I only had to change one thing (the target in the <a> tag) for 100% compliancy. Otherwise, it was great and it is free right now while in beta
I want to try Expression, but I am running vista and the office beta so for some reason it won't install.
The RTM for Office 2007 was the other day so it should be out for the public soon. I had to unistally my junk email filter on Outlook 2003 and then reinstall it. I haven't had the nerve yet to put in Vista
Thanks, all great suggestions. Just what I was looking for. Now I can recommend more that one application.
