Does anyone know were I can place an ad for a witter for my site. I have a small site and really can't afford to pay much so I do not want to get in to a bidding war on any of the many sites where you bid for writers, therefore I need to find a place to put up and ad and work from there by just telling people what the pay is or narrowing the list from those who respondent.
You could try Craiglist. There are also many free classified sites that let you post ads. You can put whatever you want in the ad such as the amount you are willing to pay and specifications about the job that you need done.
As Vanessa said, Craigslist would work. You could also post an ad to the content creation section of this forum.
There is also a very popular blog that many writers go to find jobs: FreelanceWritingGigs.com. Be as specific as you can in your job description and that will help you get the best response from writers qualified to write for you. Craigslist can also be very helpful. Good luck!
