I've been searching on Google for a hosting directory, and all of them show like 20 "featured" hosts. I want a directory that shows user-submitted hosting companies, more than just the same old hosts at least. Thanks
That is really difficult to find because of the amt of money that can be made from featured links, I am working on a hosting directory. It will be launched soon.

I agree with you, finding a host can be a real pain. Hopefully, you will find some advice here at DP. I suggest browsing through some hosting directories and/or going through web host reviews, doing some research before going with a company doesn't hurt Meti
