domainsite.com is probably the best. Dreamhost, namecheap are really good too. Go Daddy is something you want to stay away from.

I use enom. I've also used namecheap and GoDaddy. They're not bad either. Go Daddy as a good administrative/control panel for domains, but renewal fees are higher than registering a domain. For instance, they may sell you a domain for $10 for the first year of registration and then sell you the renewal for $13. Still not bad in my opinion. Good luck.

    FACTS: http://domainnamewire.com/2012/02/23/survey-says-godaddy-is-top-domain-registrar/

Do you see NameCheap on that list?

Why do you think that is? Because they are CRAP. No legit business would ever use them. They don't even have a street address... they operate out of a Mailbox Drop the same as dozens of SPAM companies. They do NOT offer any kind of telephone support. They are a total joke. The only people who use them are those that have been duped and lied to.

If one wants a legitimate REAL REGISTRAR they use GoDaddy... if not they use NameSILO - who has a real street address and a real telephone number.

If "best" means "worst" then you are spot on.

Wrong Wrong oh so very wrong.

NameCheap is a Fraud company. They don't even have a real street address.

    You couldn't be more wrong!

    FACT: http://domainnamewire.com/2012/02/23...ain-registrar/

You know why you don't see NameCheap on that list? Because they are NOT a real Registrar. They are just a reseller and a poor one at that. And that's the FACTS!
