Where can be written php code apart from dreamviewer

    I am new bie of php programmer, please let me know where we can write php code apart from Dreamweaver.
    please share free version tools so that we can use easily them.

    Your suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

    FYI, JEditor is very good at indenting PHP code for readability purposes.

    Do be honest RAD is for me the standard for programming … so Eclipse Helios PDT is the most powerful tool (in my view) and of course Netbeans for PHP comes really close as a solution.

    I use SciTe. After trying ALL the popular programmers editor I've always gone back to using SciTe. It's a barebone layout with no frills, easy to configure, uses hardly any CPU or Memory and features all the standard programmers tools. Supports all major languages, syntax coloring, regex Search & Replace, execute quickly from editor, and had that unix editor feel to it.
