Where are the rules for the link-sales forum?

Hello,
I want to be a good DP member. Post honest ads and generally support the group when I can.

I just received a warning for trying to purchase $1 links in the link sales forum. I read the announcement at the top of the forum, and I don't see a conflict with that announcement. I also navigated to the list of sales forums and saw no link for rules there. Where exactly is the rule that states no <$5 purchase/sales? If I missed it then I apologize, but, honestly, I don't see this rule.

I want to continue posting honest ads, but frankly, it sucks to spend an hour working on an honest/'to-the-point' ad and then get it moved, or even worse an infraction. I always take great pride in the fact that my posts go unedited when I do things like hold a contest. This was a real turn off. Again, show me the rule, and I'll apologize.

Well, its easy and simple !

Anything less than $5 goes to FREEBIES section.
And so you should have posted that there since it was of $1 only.

But you posted it in link sales so you got an infraction.

What I am asking Digital_shubhi's is, 'where are the rules? Where does it state that <$5 is not allowed? Can anyone please answer this?

-Suggestion: when posting in link sales the sticky rule is not very intuitive to find. I typically look near the top of the page for stickies/rules.

 

If you're posting anywhere in the BST section, then take the time to read the sticky threads in the main BST forum first. You should also read the stickies in this section. Stickies in those two areas will answer most of your questions.
