Where are the priorities?

    Budget Cuts

The administration has widely touted a $1.7 billion increase in discretionary funding for the Education Department in its 2005 budget, but the 2006 guidance would pare that back by $1.5 billion. The Department of Veterans Affairs is scheduled to get a $519 million spending increase in 2005, to $29.7 billion, and a $910 million cut in 2006 that would bring its budget below the 2004 level.
Also slated for cuts are the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Science Foundation, the Small Business Administration, the Transportation Department, the Social Security Administration, the Interior Department and the Army Corps of Engineers.
    ....
The Women, Infants and Children nutrition program was funded at $4.7 billion for the fiscal year beginning in October, enough to serve the 7.9 million people expected to be eligible. But in 2006, the program would be cut by $122 million. Head Start, the early-childhood education program for the poor, would lose $177 million, or 2.5 percent of its budget, in fiscal 2006
    .....
National Institutes of Health spending would be cut 2.1 percent in 2006.

2006 Cuts In Domestic Spending On Table

What people get instead, for the cuts in health, education and other public services?

Bush to seek $120 billion more for wars

Who needs education and health programs when you can go to other countries and kill people?

Funny Henny, such an important issue and you make fun of it, the Bush administration has spent over 480 Billion on dual wars so far, still no Bin Ladin....:D

They have made Trillions on oil.....

Why not make Exxon and BP pay for the wars since we invaded Iraq to secure their oil  :D

Anything Against The Republican party is automatically a joke to Henny. He's a loyal slave ;)

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority."
    - G.W. Bush, 3/13/02

Why would we capture Bin Laden? He's the best thing that ever happened to Bush. All he has to do is say the "T" word and he gets everything he wants.

Let me see if I understand you correctly:

Spending money on health and education= LIBERALS

Spending money on war and killing people= REPUBLICANS

If this is what you mean, as much as it hurts me to say: We are in total agreement.

What these guys don't understand is that we have to make friends out of our enemies, you know the same killer Muslims that we trained to fight the Soviet Union when they invaded Afghanistan.....

You can't turn a third of the worlds population against you and expect to "be safe", that policy is insanity and we have mad men in the White House that don't know nothing about diplomacy!

    Where are THEIR priorities!?

The US spent $200 BILLION on wars last year!

The U.N. says it would take $10 billion per year to effectively deal with AIDS in Afican countries.

$10 Billion would help save 3,000,000 people. And help stop the epidemic from completely decimating many African countries.

    Do the math.

And I realize it's not just the US.

I understand you but do you think that members of looney party will ever think of people outside of USA?

I was showing that even Americans are getting screwed.

    Both parties are looney!

We went to Iraq to save the Iraqi people right?

We could have spent A LOT less money and have spared thousands of lives.

Isn't that the whole point of your existence on the forum? A foreigner from Canada bashing America? Well, and dmoz and Christians and Jews.

You had to dig deep for this one, huh? In your haste to bash America, you stumbled onto something and didn't realize it was printed in 2004 and was an initial proposal. One would have to look at what spending/budgets were approved and see where we are today, not budget proposals made in 2004.

Don't you have something more recent you can bash America with?

Here's a good one! How about bashing YOUR country for a change? Heavens knows there's plenty *you could* bash your country with, but then that's not your objective, is it?

There is only one looney party of America.

We are going to have Mr. Gtech ( Bush is never wrong) and Mr. mia ( I thank Bush for my house) as President and Vice-President nominee on our ticket for 2008 presidential election.

Looney Party, The only choice for all the loonies.
Or as we say in our party: We are more looney than Repunlicans. ;)

The only voice that matters to Gtech is that of senior citizens who served in the military. Everyone else is just an "angry white male with a low IQ" ;)

Hey, that works for me! Thank you, I'm honored!

So on the other side, we could have Anthony CEA for President, representing the (Bush stole my cans of oil from my garage and Cheney smacked me upside the head with a Haliburton briefcase) crowd, with Yo-Yo for vice president representing the (We're young angry white males with low IQs and there is aids in the corn) crowd! Sorry gworld, but you are not a citizen of our country. You are only entitled to keep bashing it as you do every day.

Let's see, diebold machines, karl rove, stolen elections, oil reserves in the white house basement. Hmm, what will be the first order of business? :D

Is Repunlicans one of those collage words?
