Where are the posts and pages in my Wordpress File

    I am switching hosting accounts, and I am using Filezilla.
    I have downloaded the Wordpress file for each site from my old hosting, and uploaded it to the new host, but all the text (pages & posts that I've written) is not there.
    How can I find it?

    Where is it stored? Why can't I find it in my Wordpress file, not under WP_CONTENT although the images are there? Why isn't it appearing ? Is this a common problem?

    Please help... Thank you

    It's in your database. You should log in to the old admin panel (if possible) and use the export feature.

    Alternatively, you could ask your old host for a backup of your database and your new host (possibly) could upload it for you.
