Where are the best places to sell domains on the web?

The kind of price I am thinking of is minimum $1000 and upwards.

Any specialist sites which are likely to convert to a sale with a decent domain name?

Thanks for all the links. I've registered for the forums and bookmarked the Domain sites to see what I can learn. :)

I've had good luck selling on Afternic. Selling on DNF or NP is usually wholesale. DNF is hard to make a sale because there are so many posts daily and so much competition. I take my best names and let them sit on Afternic. When I least expect it, I'll make a surprise sale.

I've had good luck as a buyer on DNF... As for selling big names ($5k+), a good way is to contact specific interested parties directly if it relates to a certain industry.

I hadn't thought of that, Sandwalker. Thanks for the tip.

I'm testing the waters and have joined all of the forums and checked out the sites as well. I figured I was as well to put these domains to work till I either sell them or have the time to develop the sites.

Another site not mentioned here which I have discovered is at GoDaddy.com called, Domain Name After Market.
