Where are Text Links Ads on Google?

    This datacentre-- http://72.14.235.104/ still shows it as an Authority Site --if you put text-link-ads.com on the G Bar.

    So it seems a glitch

    I remember reading somewhere that they have dropped the rankings of many popular sites that sale links. Another site that was mentioned was John Chow's. Maybe Google is on the "war path".

    Indeed, Google IS penalizing the link buyers and sellers, not only text-link-ads.com and john chow have received this kind of penalization, also seomoz.org and some other big sites/blogs. The penalization for link selling and buying in order to cheat Google algorithm was announced at the beginning of May some day and the first post was made on Matt Cutts blog, so yeah, they have lost rankings, it is not a glitch.

    Poeple know text links ads too well and can get to the site without Google too I guess.
