This is one of the saddest things about this whole war. People are so dumbed down, now they think that Taliban = Al Queda = Terrorist Muslim = Islamist = Terrorist and War = Terrorism (both ways) With consultants like Frank Luntz, the government is able to convince people of anything, even things that are counter-intuitive.
They are still in Afghanistan and getting ready for the next attacks. Osama recently announced that they are planning for more attacks in Israel and USA. He disclosed 3 video tapes few weeks ago.
Agree with you totally. According to news they have resume control of 15-20% of afghanistan. Local people love them there.
Yeah, my point is that it seems that every group seems to become terrorist now. We use the word so casually. The Taliban are not Al Queda. They are different groups with different goals, likely different members etc. But people are so dumb, they think Taliban = international terrorists when they are actually domestic warlords.
The Taliban is alive, well, and resurgent; the Afghanistan war, voted for by Ron Paul, among others, was bled away in 5 years of war in Iraq.
