Where are my links?

    So over the past few months I have submitted 3 or 4 of my sites to various directories, about a thousand in all.
    I expected by now to see hundreds of links to my sites but there are only about 300 links showing and most of those are from my own sites, and digital point forums sigs.
    Shouldnt the directory submissions be showing up as backlinks to my sites? I know the submissions were approved because I got a ton of confirmations from them.

    Puzzled :confused:

    google doesnot display all back links so dont worry about it. directory submission helps in link building.

    Hi,

    If you have used free or basic submissions for your site then you will have to wait for atleast 6 months to know the status or for your site for listing and backlinks.
