I achieve MSN rankings rapidly, then they fall .. and fall .. and fall

    Ngggh! This is annoying.

    Generally, I do this:

    - Build a page with original articles
    - Submit the same articles to article banks
    - See high rankings pretty sharpish
    - Add new original articles and submit those too

Then they fall, and fall and fall.

Really, this can't just be because of duplicate content can it..or is it? Would my rankings maintain do you think if I simply wrote original content for the page and OTHER content for the articles I submit. Is this where the only problem may lye? Someone say yes.... then I can rest easy 'cos this seems to keep repeating itself... I'd invest in some more original content right now and wipe the other stuff off my sites if I knew my rankings would shoot back up by doing so.....

MSN lists things quite quickly, then perhaps later they evaluate them more. I would try getting more inbound links to your pages.

msn seems to rank pages mainly based on anchor text and on page optimisation maybe join the co-op network and get you site some links?

I'll try the coop for my new site I think, although I'll be damned if I know how to set it up as I just use straight up .HTML pages.
