    Hi

I don't if anything is wrong at my end. Whenever I post a comment on any blog. It just comes up with a blank page http://www.anyblogurl.com/wp-comments-post.php. And nothing else goes. Can someone explain me what could be the problem

    Best Regards

I think it happened because you failed their bot test

no your IP address has been reported to askimet and so your ip is banned from leaving response. Leave it a few months and try again it will clear in time.

Yes it happened to a friend too, he was getting blank pages on many blogs, but now he can go on if he puts his url only in the comment, not in the url field (before he was putting it in both, worked for months until the blank page effect).

You've been banned by akismet for spamming, which means that a lot of people have clicked the "Spam This" button so any wordpress blog is going to block your comments.

I don't believe so. I experimented with the way I create the URL embedded in my post, and it just has to do with that. Nothing to do with being banned.

Unless of course what is being banned is that exact URL.

But it cannot be the IP address that is banned in my case, because if I tinker with the URL just a tad it goes through.

Also, putting the URL in the "Website" is always okay - it is the URL in the comment that gets tagged for SPAM.

Anyway, one way to test all this is create your own WP blog, add Akismet to it, and experiment with posting whatever it is that you want to post on others' blogs - see if it flies.
