Hi all, My site is www.soccerengine.net I am working as hard as I can on it ready for when the big G reviews their Page Ranking system. It is clear that the key to a successful PR is links. I know that different links hold different values but roughly how many links did you get to your site before you achieved page rank 1? Also do directory submissions count for anything? Some people say they do and some say they don't. I have now sumitted my site to over 500 directory's in the last 2 weeks and done around 10 link exchanges. I have produced 3 ezine articles which I belive also count as links. Do I need to do more for PR 1 and are their any calculators out there that can estimate your PR prior to the big update? Thankyou for you help and any input on my site itself is much appreciated. James
It depends on the quality of the links.. and their PRs.. I already have a few hundreds of backlinks but I'm still on PageRank 1 :{
I've a free subdomain and when i check pr on pr checking website the say : INVALID URL Backlinks : Around 150
as far i know google have no clear methode of maintaning PR..but building active pagerank is a one way to go
