I guess this is a question for the mods. When someone reports a post, do the mods know who reported it?

And they are stored in a special sub forum - all standard features of vBulletin.

Yes they do. They sometimes even give reps if you report a post and the report is valid.

leede - we're talking about reports of bad posts where you click on the [IMG] button.

    It's different from reputation...

Sarah, when you delete a post or thread you actually move it to some invisible (for us) forum, right? I heard someone saying that.

They were up till recently I believe. Now they get sent to a sub forum...

Unless they have hacks or mods, the basic reported post looks kind of like this:

Yep, I've gotten a green when I reported something once.

It says right on the page you use to report with, your user name, so I always just figured it reported the post in question with your name as the reporter.

The post or thread stays in place. You just can't see it. Mods can. Therefore reading posts where we've cleaned out a stack of bump/deletes is tiresome because of all the stubs of posts.

    And we still get emailed...

Not Sarah here and already answered, but clarification.

It's IPB the forum software in which you delete a post and it's moved to a private forum set up as "trashcan".

Perhaps, but I know other forum admins who run their vbulletin forums like that.

Shame - we can't give greenies to people who are banned ;)
