I find that it is best to write the articles manually and spend 20 minutes writing a quality article than 7-8 minutes writing 2 normal ones. I just signed up to associated content and got paid 3 dollars + for my first article while i hear people complaining about them paying only 1dollar and i think the reason is the quality of the articles. My article was about massage and was less than 500 words but well written this my friends is the best way my $.02
I don't understand what you mean by two normal ones? You mean that you normally spit out articles in less than ten minutes? Grant, I agree that three bucks is peanuts but at least with AC, you continue to get paid over and over. Or at least, I still receive a two or three dollars a month on articles they already paid me for. Over all, my 23 articles posted there have earned me a fairly decent rate per word and continue to earn a bit. It's a good place to put filler stuff (pieces you may not have sold or pieces you come up with after researching a client's order). Tina G
$3 isn't much better than $1. What are these "normal" articles you mention that only take 7-8 minutes to write?
Hey, TMG, are you saying they pay based on PLR or Unique? If it's PLR then $3.00 per 500 is excellent i'd say. Some may say it is still low, but high rated sites like that get the prices they want!
With AC, you do not have to give up rights to your work. You submit it as non-exclusive so you can use that same material later on your own site or somewhere else. I tried submitting exclusive to compare payment offers but it was such a small difference that it wasn't worth it to me. As I said, most of my submissions only made $5-6 average in upfront payments but I am still getting a couple bucks a month in page view bonuses and I haven't submitted to them for over a year. Tina G
