When will you stop writing for pennies and start making dollars?

    Writers, and I don't care where you hail from, that have the talent and skills, still work, and even fight over peanuts in the BST section here.

    What does it take to make you realize your full potential?

    Is it the lack of high paying jobs? If so you must have been looking in the wrong places. There are plenty of well paying sources for writers available.

    Is it that you doubt your abilities? Or feel your skills need work? That can be cured as well.

    The point of this thread: Lets hear from you what it will take to get you to stop taking on jobs at $ 3/500 or even lower.

    I guess it does. I don't understand it though. It is almost like they do not want to make a decent income.
