When will you consider your web site as established?

Im new to alexa and correct me if im wrong.for me alexa is not that reliable. rankings depends on their alexa toolbar and i have observed it myself. please correct me of im wrong because im also confused about it.

 

Here's a write up I did on how Alexa sucks. It made Slashdot and Digg etc, I guess it was accurate.

I would say when you make good money from it and you can retire!

Like others have said, it's different for everyone. I would feel established once I had to switch from a shared server to a dedicated server.

I consider mine established when they have consistently earned me money and they are outranking the competition in SERPS.

 

For those who are dismissing Alexa as irrelevant,

Every time my traffic picks up, I notice a relative alexa rank improvement. Sure it's not accurate, but it tells something about the importance of your web site

 

Obviously Alexa is inaccurate... Put it this way... It simply cant physically be accurate. But it does give you some idea of the traffic. Even though it does show strange spikes now and then, in the long run and a smooth curve it gives you a nice little ruff estimate.

 

I would just add consistent to that and that about sum it ups for me too.
