When will the next PR update come considering all rules were broken this time?

Until now people used to consider that Google updates its PageRank after every 3 months and they usually used to work real hard with that time period in mind..

Considering whatever happened this time with PR and the time Google took to update them do you think the next update will again be after 3 months or Google has some other plans for that too? Like updating after every month seeing the intensity with which internet is growing? 3 months seems to be a huge period.

    ...What say?

I'll go with another 4 months or so. We'll see about that though. Pr updates are always long.

There is a rumor that Google might be doing away with PageRank altogether, and replacing it with something else (some call it "VisitorRank").

Of course, we won't really know until Google says something.

@trichnosis: that is the very correct point. They surely haven't done up yet with the algo. Bringing down PRs of the likes of problogger was the example..
