When will Phpld4 be released?

    I am planning to buy a couple of paid version of phpld. But as far as i know, i will not be able to update my 3.x version to 4.x version freely if 4.x version is released.

    So i am wondering if you know/guess the release date of phpld4. If it is near, i would like to wait until it releases..

    It won't be called 4.x
    It will be called 3.2 or similar.
    Our update schedule is a new release about once every 3 months.
    We are still at least 1-2 months from the next release.

    The existing model will not really change. There may be a small increase in the price of the software this year, but there is no specific plan to do that right now. The only reason we would do that is if we felt that we were not doing a good job of keeping up with support and developent. After all, we owe it to the users to support them and keep getting better. Even now, we are not perfect, but I think we keep up pretty well with requests.

    I would not like to do something that would upset past buyers.
    Requiring past buyers to pay more would be the LAST thing I would want to do. I try not to make statements where I say I will NEVER do something, but that would be highly unlikely.

    When comes down to 3.2 vs. 4.0, that is really just semantices.
    I will tell you than 3.2 will be a pretty major release, but I can't tell you the date right now.
