When will my new page title show in the SERPs?

    Hello!

Googlebot (not the AdSense MediaPartners Bot) has been munching around the site for a few days and has cached new content but has yet to register a new page title that I gave to the homepage.

I changed it to include a keyword that I'm trying to rank well for, currently 23 and climbing!

Any advice...do page title changes set me back at all?

    Thanks in advance! -Rose

If the new title words fit in naturally, I don't think they will do any harm. I changed a home page title recently and started seeing positive effect soon after.

Google can be slow to update the cache.

I believe changing the home page title (from index) to keyword will make it impossible to use co-op ads on that site.

This is rather unfortunate. Well it was for me at least, as I have (also) changed my home page title to keyword.php and made a permanent redirect from index to keyword.

Now I have to opt out of the co-op network :(
