When will Google remove the reference to an old site?

    I have deleted the contents of a (family related) site and replaced it with another template. Google is still pointing/referencing this old information.
    I replaced the info for that site almost 2 months ago. When/how does Google remove the old references to this site?

    If your pages shown as supplementary results then it is gonna take more time, may be a year some times.

    Just setup 301 redirects to direct the old pages to any page or diffrent pages on you new site.

    Try to find some back links to your site. Google will change there index as visits to your site increases.
