When will Google Page Rank follow redirect 301?

My question is in the title. I recently redirected from http://www.internationalmark.co.uk/ranking.html using the control panel. The old page had a high PR with Google. I understand that the PR also follws, but my PR on the new site is still zero. Do I just have to wait? For how long? Or have I done something wrong that I can put right?

I would have thought that the new page of http://www.rankfootball.com would have the same high page rank, as all the links are directed to it.
Would it help if I put the new url on the old page even though it can not be seen by anyone?

if youve done it right, it'll be 3 to 6 months before the (Toolbar) PR transfers across

but the real PR will flow much quicker and show up in your ranking ability in a couple of weeks

    Thanks!
So are you saying that the toolbar PR reading is always 3-6 months behind real time? How can I find out what the real PR is?

the toolbar is somewhere between 2 and 8 weeks behind real PR (we think) but you have to wait for the next Toolbar PR export after your 301 has booted in to see your previous PR reading on the toolbar.

as for real PR we can't, it's guesswork. like electricity, we know it's there, and important, but cant see it.

Wait until google updates the pagerank and you will see your new URL's pagerank.

Check if you have done everything correctly.
Check the backlinks of the previous page and go any one of them. Then click on the link there andsee if it gets redirected.
It may take an PR update to get your PR transfered.

Google seems pretty good about following 301s.
