It is so said to read these posts about the problems with clickbank system. I guess if you are a seasoned aff marketers, then losing a thousand or two is not that big of a deal, but it is definitely a big problem for someone who is just starting in this business. I wonder if it would be possible to have a site for the purpose of uniting all affiliates who think they lost money because of the clickbank screwups and do something about it?
That would be an idea, but i doubt that it would server to something and would probably end up with everyone complaining for ever possible sales trends...being because they have less quality traffic or whatever reason apart from clickbank issues....
The problem with a site like that would be the new affiliate marketers who have made sales for 7 days straight and than get none for 2 days. I've seen fluctuations as big as 80% in my day to day sales. I know somethings wrong with clickbank if my sales averages are drastically different from sales I'm making. ie. clickbanks new update cost me 50% of sales over 3 days so far. I'm making this comparison to 3 1/2 months worth of data. I like the idea but web18_designer is right. There'd be many threads about people who are seeing normal fluctuations and not something necessarily wrong with clickbanks system. Maybe you could have a bunch of members who change a status or something. If 60% or more people are reporting problems than you could change the status of the site. Kind of like clickbanks status reporting (which sucks) but as reported by the community.
I've got affiliates using PPC. Nothing on site has changed but sales have gone down dramatically. I think something is up with Clickbank.
Well the biggest question is this: IF Clickbank is "messed up", then what exactly is the problem? What could be the thing that their update has done to cause a downtrend in sales?
Most likely credit cards being denied, or their payment system is messed up. Cookies seem to be fine, hops are being counted, but there are less sales.
Lol No...I have a couple of websites and I put personalized ads in them that day, but no sales. When I heard about clickbank's issues. I removed them temporarily so sales aren't being wasted.
was just wondering how is everyone doing with CB and the massive drop a big number of affiliates had last week??? in my case I'm no where near previous to drop numbers but sales are beginning to come back in slowly..
Good for you! Just imagine if clickbank was fine, you would be getting at least 2x more sales in your bank for the same effort! cheers!
