A question that has probably been asked in this forum a dozen times over already. At this point in time I don't think anyone really knows anymore. The only thing Google has said (a while back) is expect to see fewer and fewer of them..
Who knows and who cares. Get on with running your business. Unless of course your business is selling links!
I used to check my Pagerank obsessively! Nowadays I doubt if I check it more than a few times a year. Pagerank is a result. I'm more interested in writing new content and doing the things that will naturally attract good links (which do help your PR).
The last one was in December i think, so a new one it's probably long overdue. But don't worry, the internet marketing forums will buzz about it so you'll find out pretty fast, in the mean time you can spend time on what really matters - your rankings in google.
there used to be a couple or three updates each year, last one was on december 2013, Matt Cutts is off for long vacations, therefore i believe by the end of summer he might send us a goodbye for now gift
No one knows of course until Google release its official announcement but for now concentrate on your audience on how to provide them an engaging content.
Within very short time Google will update their page rank. At first, they will update some rules , after that, they will update page rank.
I read this question hundreds of times on different forums and explaining people about Page Rank.. Google knows the best.
Keep up following Google algorithm updates and wait for the update as no can predict. Meanwhile keep watching your PA, DA.
Yeah, as everyone said, there's no way to know. All anyone has to go on is how long it's been since the last update and if the last one was in December, it's reasonable to think the next one could be soon. We would have the same discussions 6 years ago and it seemed like they updated 3 or 4 times a year back then, but not anymore I guess.
The first week of September would probably be the right time for a major PR update since it's the start of the year after Summer in North America but then again who really knows. It was easy to predict such things a couple of years ago but now we must depend on DA/PA/TF/Etc. instead of Google PR.
PR update might be on the cards but it is getting delayed due to Google's attention more towards algorithmic updates.
A more appropriate question would be when is DigitalPoint going to ban posters who start pointless threads asking when the next PR update is.
I feel like people are being a little harsh, it was a question... in a forum... where questions are supposed to be asked... Not everyone has total knowledge of how google or everything else works (I doubt anyone knows everything) but if you don't want to read the question don't open the thread.
